Table 43 Notes

  1. Maximum floor load widths are based on a maximum flooring plus ceiling mass of 40 kg/m².
  2. Studs for internal non-loadbearing bracing walls and partitions (not carrying floor or roof loads) shall be as per Clause 6.3.5.
  3. Edge distances for some sheet bracing materials may require a minimum stud width of 45 mm for joining sheets.
  4. Large stud sizes may be made up by vertical nail lamination as per Clause 2.4.
