Table 19 — Sheet roof (max total mass 40 kg/m²).

Table 20 — Tile roof (max total mass 90 kg/m²).

For lintels supporting distributed (uniformly applied) roof loads, use Tables 17 & 18.

For lintels supporting hanging beams, take the area supported as half the ceiling area supported by the lintel.

Minimum bearing length = 35 mm unless a bearing subscript is shown (e.g. (+5 mm brg) means min bearing = 35 + 5 = 40 mm).
