Table 15 Notes

  1. Maximum roof load widths are based on a maximum total Sheet roof, framing and ceiling mass of 40 kg/m². For guidance refer to Appendix A.
  2. Top plates shall be fixed at tie-down points at connections to wall framing and to internal walls.
  3. Where top plates are used as lintels, the lintel span shall be determined from the appropriate lintel table.
  4. Multiple plates shall be nailed together as per Clause 2.5.
