Table 7 — Notes
- Maximum RLW based on sheet roof 40 kg/m² and tile roof 90 kg/m² (incl. framing and ceiling mass).
- Studs for internal non-loadbearing bracing walls and partitions (not carrying roof loads) shall be as per Cl. 6.3.5.
- Edge distances for some sheet bracing materials may require a minimum stud width of 45 mm for joining sheets.
- Large stud sizes may be made up by vertical nail lamination per Cl. 2.4.
- All stud walls shall be nogged at not greater than 1350 mm centres.
- Maximum tension load for tie-down: 8.5 kN per stud or nail-laminated laminate.
